Bachelor in Christian Studies

The Bachelor in Christian Studies is an 80 semester hour program that prepares students for a career or service as Christian leaders. The courses prepare students to think critically and ethically, communicate clearly and live faithfully so as to live with integrity in our diverse world. Students will also gain a grounding in the basics of Christianity that supports a faithful and authentic experience as a Christian leader. The Program also prepares students called to ministry to continue their studies in the Master’s program focused on ministry.


Program Learning Outcomes:

  1. Develop a foundational knowledge of the Christian message and how to communicate it.

  2. Demonstrate basic knowledge and appreciation for the Church and its diverse ministries.

  3. Articulate a biblical perspective of human life, history and purpose.

  4. Equipped to think critically and communicate one’s understanding of life effectively and clearly.

  5. Critically analyze and discuss contemporary challenges and issues from a Christian perspective.
