Worldwide Christian Leadership University

Worldwide Christian Leadership University is a Leadership Development Program that enables students to grow in the knowledge and application of God’s Word and empowers them to become spendable and positional leaders both inside and outside of the church. Our program’s heart is to develop leaders that will transform the world and establish God’s Kingdom everywhere they go! Our prayer is that each student will be equipped to answer the call of God in their life, and to maintain the mandate of Jesus in Matt. 28: “To go out and spread the gospel.”

Worldwide Christian Leadership

WCLU brings theological education to leaders of the Christian faith around the globe. Worldwide Christian Leadership University offers degree programs for students seeking academic advancement and preparation for professional service in Christian ministry. The University was founded as a need to reach the globe with its sister institution Christocratic University in 2010. The administrative headquarters are in New York City. The University specifically offers flexible and affordable distance/online education and in person intensives in a variety of delivery methods.

The University

Worldwide Christian Leadership University is a ministry designed to assist in the task of “equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, for building up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12).” Our role is to assist the local church leader in preparing leaders for service in their church and community. We believe that the church needs flexible delivery systems to accomplish the Great Commission of reaching all nations (Matthew 28).

We were founded for the purpose of developing leaders and making available a dynamic educational and training system of high academic excellence, international in scope, and able to be contextualized to meet the specific needs of your individual church and ministries.

We provide a comprehensive four-year curriculum consisting of a variety of courses to train men and women for effective leadership service. There are other ways that we train future leaders with weekly or monthly classes as well as mentoring programs, online and offline.

Worldwide Christian Leadership University makes it possible for Christian leaders and workers to fulfill their goals of completing their education and/or receiving academic credit, all without leaving their community, family, job, or local church.

The University seeks to empower the students with the will to transform the Christian world and society for the betterment of all people globally.

Mission

The mission of the Worldwide Christian Leadership University is to effectively educate and train men and women called to Christian leadership service. The academic model is biblically based Christian higher education (undergraduate through graduate), for preparing Christian pastors, missionaries, church leaders, educators and other professionals for leadership in various fields of Christian service. The curriculum is designed to disciple, develop and create leaders who will transform others. This mission is to be accomplished through a Christ-centered curriculum of academic excellence, intellectual inquiry and spiritual and moral integrity, and practical experience.

We are committed to maintaining the following principles:

a) Christian institution of higher education, serving qualified applicants without discrimination.

b) Firm biblical emphasis, both in curriculum and in principles based upon acceptance of the authority of the scriptures.

c) Theologically diverse competent faculty committed to a quality academic program.

d) An academic community that fosters positive relationships among faculty and students of diverse backgrounds.

e) A learning environment supportive of the local church.

f) Commitment to a progressive approach in addressing the technological nature of our changing society.

Accreditation

At this stage, the WCLU is not accredited by the governmental accrediting agencies, the Department of Education or chartered by any state department of education. The WCLU degree programs also do not meet any particular local, state, or national licensing or credentialing requirements. This is to allow the school to provide a basic educational experience comprised of valuable and unique courses that meet the needs of our faith-based students within the time frame that is most convenient for them. It also means that when you graduate, you will receive a diploma and not a degree. This does not mean, though, that you will not receive a strong education. The faculty members are committed to providing each and every student with a quality education along with effective advisement so that each student can work through the program and receive the type of education that they are seeking.

The WCLU is governed ultimately by the Board of Trustees. At the same time, as a religiously sponsored educational institution, the Worldwide Christian Leadership University and its Board is guided by the Council of International Charismatic Ministry (CICM), which is, in turn, supervised by the Council of International Charismatic Bishops (CICB). Headquartered in the United States. This Kingdom centered leadership is represented by 150 clergy and 50 governing bodies throughout the world.

In terms of the transfer of credits or semester hours either into your program at WCLU or to an accredited higher education institution, the acceptance of transfer credits or work done in another institution is the sole right of the receiving institution. Therefore, students wishing to transfer credits or semester hours from another program or school into WCLU, WCLU’s policy is noted in a following section. However, students wishing to transfer work from WCLU to an accredited institution, will not be able to do so in most cases as accredited schools have set policies on such requests. In addition, upon graduation from WCLU, graduates should not note on a Resume or Curriculum Vitae that they have earned a “degree” from WCLU. This is for your protection.
